Summary Information

Under the Scheme Rules, fees are payable on the average daily value of guaranteed liabilities over the preceding month. For December 2011, institutions participating in the Scheme paid guarantee fees of $76.6 million, taking the cumulative fees paid to $3,310 million. The average amounts guaranteed under the Guarantee Scheme are detailed in the table below.
